Happy New Year to all! 2021 was a phenomenal year of growth for Parivaar MP. Despite all the hurdles created by COVID, the team has continued to march on and offer a broad based solution in the districts they serve. The following is a short summary of the team’s work in 2021. These baselines are high, and we hope that 2022 can top these achievements
Seva Kutirs – In November we crossed the 500 Seva Kutir mark and currently, in January 2022, are at 621. As you can see, the growth rate is phenomenal. Covering 14 districts in Madhya Pradesh, these centers have an average of 100 children (ages 3 to 14) and undergo 6 hours of education & life skills every day. Children also receive meals twice a day at these centers
Ambulances – Working in these districts, it became evident that there were many basic areas that needed attention. Because of the remote nature of these districts, access to health care was a problem. Parivaar launched 75 free ambulances and 10 mobile clinics impacting 100K people in 18 districts
Team – The Parivaar MP team is now 2600 people strong! Siddharth Parmar has been designated as the CEO of Parivaar MP. Much appreciation to him and his selfless team. Parivaar hires their field workers, cluster coordinators, teachers, cooks and other roles locally, providing employment in the local community and empowers local people to drive development
Vision restoration – Many of the locals suffer from poor vision and various forms of blindness due to malnutrition. Parivaar undertakes various camps to serve patients with medications, eyeglasses & preventative care. There were 639 such camps that were organized in 2021 serving 134K + patients. 18K patients received cataract & retina surgeries
