Our Approach
We believe each child is a unique and special addition to our ever-growing family. Children at Parivaar are not treated as charity or clients, just as the care-givers and teachers are not treated as employees. Everyone is part of our family. When we invest in the life of a child at Parivaar, we are investing in her future, her family’s future, and the future of India.

The Journey
Generally, children admitted into Parivaar are from single-parent households, orphans, homeless and children where exploitation and victimization is common.
1
Admission
We admit children between the age of 4-10, though certain exceptions are made. Along with one child, all his/her siblings are also admitted into Parivaar.
2
Development
Each resident child is under our care and custody till higher education.
In addition to the formal schooling, we run a daily 4 hours after-school tutorship.
3
Graduation
After 12th grade, Parivaar children get enrolled in colleges under Calcutta University (or some other institutions) in the stream of their preference.
